New Fashion Talent for International Spotlight
Six new labels will make their international catwalk debut at L'Oreal New Zealand Fashion Week, event organisers announced today.
Collections from Sherrill Joseph (Auckland) Voon, Billy Zamoisky and Ehud (Wellington), Adamsgibbs (Hawkes Bay) and Paulette De-Har (now living in Melbourne) will be on show during the Gillette for Women Venus New Generation Show at 4pm in Auckland Town Hall's Great Hall on Thursday 25 October. This will be the designers' first show before an international audience of media, buyers and the fashion industry.
L'Oreal New Zealand Fashion Week event organiser Pieter Stewart says the six new generation designers are exciting new talent.
'The international buyers coming have already expressed a strong interest in seeing what new talent New Zealand has to offer and these designers will not disappoint them," she says.
"We're absolutely delighted with the six designers in the Gillette for Women Venus New Generation Show and think they compliment the other more established designers who will show at the event very well." Mathew Thompson, Product Manager Gillette, SellAgence Limited representing Gillette says Gillette for Women Venus is proud to be associated with New Zealand's rising talent.
"We're privileged to be involved in a show which will provide both an international and domestic platform to showcase local designers with so much potential," he says.
"Gillette for Women Venus is a revolutionary product combining leading edge technology and groundbreaking innovation. It represents a truly unique experience for consumers. We believe the designers of the Gillette for Women Venus New Generation Collection will continue the unique experience, showcasing leading edge designs that will push boundaries and break ground with new innovations."
