The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra has contracted Australian pianist Roger Woodward to replace Bruno Leonardo Gelber after Gelber's recent withdrawal from tour due to ill health. There will be no change of conductor though there will a change to one work only, Woodward will perform Prokofiev's third piano concerto in place of the Schumann piano concerto.
