NZ On Air Funds The Strip

NZ On Air continues its support of Kiwi drama by funding nine further episodes of The Strip, a slick, smart and sassy show that follows the adventures of a new owner of a strip club.
“NZ On Air is pleased to announce the continued funding of this racy drama. The long running show will give New Zealanders a chance to get caught up in an entertaining programme centred around involving a group of engaging characters and their relationships,” said NZ On Air Chief Executive, Jo Tyndall.
Gibson Group is producing the series in Wellington for TV3 - a massive production - and it is being shot in and around the world's smallest red light district, Vivian Street.
Producer Dave Gibson said he was thrilled with the support from NZ On Air.
We have a large cast and crew and the impact on the industry, financially and creatively, is very significant,” he said.
NZ On Air has allocated $2,985,000 to Gibson Group to produce a further 9 episodes of The Strip.
