There are still a few positions left in our Caitlin Smith vocal workshop this coming Saturday.
Caitlin Smith has worked with many NZ bands including Eye TV and Tadpole, in the studio as both a vocal coach and doing
BV's.
Caitlin is passionate about expanding people's view of the voice as an instrument and upskilling the standard of
vocalism in NZ. She also is currently working on a project to create networks and communication amongst vocalists. One
of her strengths as a vocal coach is ensuring people look after their voices and can give you lots of tools to ensure
you don't damage your voice, after all, you wouldn't expect a professional athlete to perform at their best and avoid
injury if they didn't train properly, same goes for vocalists. She will give you methods to get the most efficient
results from your practice and how to continue to learn by teaching yourself.
A full time session vocalist and vocal coach and lead singer of te Fondue Set, Caitlin has been profiled in the latest
Brass and Pulp magazines. She has released 2 CDs that have received critical acclaim and wowed jazz festival audiences
throughout Australasia.
