Some 8 months ago a New York lawyer searched the web for a New York photographer to capture her wedding in Hong Kong. She easily found Wellington photographic studio Photography by Woolf and liking what she saw, made contact. It was a short time later that Simon Woolf was commissioned to photograph the May nuptials in Hong Kong and provide some-thing really unique.
Recently having returned from the wedding, Simon Woolf says, "I have worked in Hong Kong before and the weather conditions mean than instead of coping with the wind of Wellington, you have to cope with high humidity - camera equipment does not like it a bit. But that's a challenge and I just love a challenge! Probably the most memorable moment for me as a photographer was persuading the bridal couple to go up Hong Kong Peak, even though the whole of Hong Kong was clouded in mist. But miraculously as we got to the top, the mist lifted and we got some amazing images with Hong Kong City in the background ".
General Manager of Photography by Woolf, Deborah Hart says, "New Zealand businesses are well able to compete internationally. In this case we competed with every other photographer out there. We won the job because of a great New Zealand designed website that was highly visible, the quality and creativity of our work, internationally competitive pricing and most importantly excellent service".
