delivering beer and wine, along with pizzas, to households as its parent company works to reduce reliance on the KFC
chain. Pizza Hut had 65% of the growing pizza delivery and takeaway business, and had established a home-delivery base
enabling it to provide a wider range of products. Beer and wine would start in the next three to six months, with
applications for licences already lodged, and energy drinks and snacks would follow.

COURTROOM STORM BREWING An international beer battle that has been brewing for more than 100 years is set to come to a
head in the High Court at Wellington this year. The American beer barons Anheuser-Busch and Czech brewers Budejovicky
Budvar have been going head to head in courts round the world over the use of the name Budweiser Budvar and the
presentation of the two companies' products. Both companies brew a beer that uses those names.

BREWERS IN TAX BATTLE AUSTRALIA'S biggest brewers launched legal action against the Federal Government yesterday to claw
back more than $100 million in disputed beer excise. The brewers have promised to hand the money back to the community
if they win their case. A defeat for the Government could also blow a hole in Treasurer Peter Costello's GST windfall.
