Listings amendment: Wednesday 29th The Domestic Lounge featuring AH UM (jazz DJ)OOOPPS Super Drums Pro Series is cancelled due to some urgent jazz business they had to tend toŠ But we have a debut performance from a local DJ, AH UM who produces The Zambesi Jewel School on Radio Active 89FM every Saturday with Zen come check AH UM¹s nu urban jazz and soul spirit.

Thursday 30th November - Expansions with b.lo Bass Frontiers resident b-lo is our man on the drum and bass scene, his Thursday night residency at The Matterhorn is a popular weekend warm-up. b-lo plays all styles with the resolution that they be smart, sexy and full of tha funk we associate with the ŒHorn. B-lo's dancefloor is never an empty one, try it out for a great alternative to the packed weekend nights at The Matterhorn.
Friday 1st December - Mu & Zen Forget your work worries with the Mu and Zen Connection, here to soothe away the weeks troubles, with a fine selection of funk, house rare groove and all the classics to make your body move. Shake that booty in the garden as the stress and pain fall away.
Saturday 2nd December - The Late Show with Vee DJ S.O Join the neighbourly Vee in his popular Saturday night residency, what a party guy, mixing up a sweet blend of hip hop and funk with flavour this week Vee is joined by DJ S.O from Radio Active¹s longest running hip hop show, The Jam. DJ S.O will showcase the finest in new and old school hip hop flavours and get your booty grooving.
Sunday 3rd ­ The Matterhorn presents Gilles Peterson Worldwide 5-7pm on radio active 89fm
Wednesday 6th - The Domestic Lounge presents Twinset Twist away to the beauteous sounds of Wellington¹s most co-ordinated jazz ensemble. Let Twinset caress your mid week woes away to the tune of funky live lounge and jazz. If you haven't caught them yet, do so. A recommended pick of the month.

Wednesday 13th - The Domestic Lounge presents Jonathan Crayford Jonathan Crayford and his scratch band play live jazz jams the middle Wednesdays of the month. Join the Matterhorn crew for a lively evening of jazz noodles. Crayford is the bomb session musician who has played amongst legends James Brown and Tito Puente.
Next weekend Sat 16th December- Get your groove on at an urban xmas party nothing like a bit of nu urban soul to spice up our south pacific summer join The Matterhorn's most up for it bunch of DJs for hip hop, sexy RnB and a soul train of 2 Step Jump on in as we celebrate the years dopest styles in the garden. Also coming soon Cian's Christmas Eve bash featuring Cian the fonky monk and his elves!
