Capacity Crowd Expected At Celebrate Jesus 2000

Published: Fri 3 Nov 2000 11:25 AM
There will be a capacity crowd at Celebrate Jesus 2000 on Saturday.
Tranz Metro have offered special discounted train fares on the Hutt Valley, Papaparaumu and Johnsonville lines and will ensure that there is enough room on the trains for everyone. It is expected that most of the crowd will travel by public transport, as there is limited carparking available at The Stadium..
The Stadium will be running their 10 seater ‘buggies’ between the Train Station and The Stadium and will be plenty of wheelchairs and staff on hand to assist the elderly and immobile to their seats.
The celebration will begin promptly at 4:30pm and people are asked to be seated by 4:10pm Food outlets will be open at The Stadium before the concert begins and during the interval.
If the weather is bad and Celebrate Jesus is to be postponed, a broadcast will be made on the 10am cancellations. Wet weather day is Sunday 5 November – same time!
