Wellington Pulp Comedy Trials This Week

The Capital's best and brightest comic performers get their shot at televisual fame and fortune this week at the WELLINGTON PULP COMEDY TRIALS.
At least 15 acts will take to the stage at Indigo over Thursday and Friday nights to show selectors from Phoenix Television (Pulp Comedy's producers) and Comedyfest that they're worthy of a spot in TV2's Pulp Comedy.
Those performing on Thursday night include: Matthew Saville (national finalist, Quest of the Fest 2000) Amanda Hannan (Newtown Salad - TV2 International LAUGH! Festival) Ete (Coconuts - TV2 International LAUGH! Festival 2000) Caroline Waltz (Pulp Comedy 2000; Comedy Soup - TV2 International LAUGH! Festival) Nigel Corbett (Pulp Comedy veteran) Dempsey Woodley (Newtown Salad - TV2 International LAUGH! Festival) Matthew Hegan (Pulp Comedy 2000) as well as Stevie-Ray, who won a place in the Pulp Comedy trials in last week's FRESH PULP.

Festival 2000) Paora Ropata (Pulp Comedy 2000) Sully O'Sullivan (Pulp Comedy 2000; Winner, Quest of the Fest 1999) Susan Fogerty (Pulp Comedy veteran) Michael Shadbolt (Pulp Comedy 2000)
