Very Serious Comedy 3

Published: Mon 28 Aug 2000 12:46 AM
The last Very Serious Comedy on August 16 was such a success that Very Serious Productions, after a brief period of consideration, have elected to do another one. Isn't that jolly nice of us.
This will be the last Very Serious Comedy for a little while - comedy fans missing out on Very Serious Comedy 3 are sure to regret it. Maybe not today. And maybe not tomorrow. But soon, and for the rest of their lives.
This latest instalment, on Wednesday 30 August, without any word of a lie, is sure to be huge. Massive. More comedy that you can shake a dead bit of a tree at. It'll include performances from:
· Ete Eteuati, whose one-man show Coconuts enjoyed a return season in this year's Laugh! Festival; · Michael Shadbolt, a talented performer and veteran of TV's Pulp Comedy; · Matthew Simcock, who makes a welcome return to the Wellington comedy scene; · mrs.peacock, a musical duo who (according to them) must be seen to be believed; · Rachel Callinan, making her standup comedy debut; and · MC Sully O'Sullivan, Pulp Comedy veteran and winner of the 1999 Quest of the Fest. · and more...
