More than 50 colourful banners are flying around the city centre and at Christchurch International Airport to welcome delegates to TRENZ, New Zealand's tourism industry's largest trade show.
Delegates who will attend the conference in Christchurch from May 22 to 24 will include representatives from 390 international companies, 347 national companies, 58 international media and more than 30 national media.
The special banners were put up over the weekend to welcome the delegates and international media representatives.
The large street banners feature sights of Christchurch, such as the gondola, Cathedral Square, cyclists, the tram, and punting.
The banners were produced by the City Council with the assistance of Christchurch's major accommodation providers.
