A shopaholic, a bureaucrat, and a receptionist at a leg waxing clinic all live in the same apartment building connected only by their frustrated dreams and the sound of the opera singer upstairs. They're each obsessive loners. But when they hit money trouble a web of unknown connections brings them together, forcing them to confront the choice between dreams and failure.
