Winners of Best Theatre in the Fringe 2000 Awards,
Open Book Productions present...
No Pogs No Patches
A comedy about golf!
Riding high on the success of their Fringe 2000 production Invisible Ink, Open Book Productions presents an original
comedy for the TV2 Laughfest 2000. No Pogs, No Patches is a comedy about golf.
Holes, woods, balls and shafts, this show delves into the cheesiest of golfing puns, not to mention a fair few bar room
scenes to get you giggling. No Pogs No Patches is a socioeconomic class struggle of Kafkaesque proportions. Come and
experience the dirty yet not wholly understood world of championship golf. The award winning Bats Theatre provides the
home to the 19th hole, where our characters are seen enjoying what seems to be a few friendly drinks, until the rivalry
sets in and a wager is proposed...
This show promises not only to be the highlight of the TV2 Laugh festival, but the greatest thing that¹s happened to
golf... EVER!
