NAKED CHEF TO VISIT NZ
Jamie Oliver, arguably the world's hottest young chef, will tour New Zealand from May 6th-14th to promote his internationally best selling book `The Naked Chef'.
Penguin Books NZ will tour the cooking phenomenon and he will star in a series of events around New Zealand.
"We are absolutely delighted that a chef and author who is so universally popular will be visiting our shores so New Zealanders will have an opportunity to witness his magic first hand," says Tony Harkins, Managing Director of Penguin Books NZ.
In April 1999, at only 23 years old, this British chef achieved celebrity status with his own BBC TV series and the publication of his first book.
The BBC series was screened in New Zealand by TVNZ in January this year.
Jamie's distinctive charm and casual style have seen his book soar to number one on the Booksellers NZ Bestseller List and continues to sell record numbers.
Interviews with Jamie Oliver in person are limited.
