Hallmark Cards has added technology options to the list of ways to remember Dad this Father's Day.
Sons and daughters across the country can email their fathers a Hallmark electronic card for Father's Day on September
5 by visiting Xtra's Father's Day website at www.xtra.co.nz/fathersday.
Sponsored by Hallmark Cards the Father's Day website was launched on August 16 and has a range of cards visitors to the
site can select to email their fathers.
Hallmark Cards Marketing Manager, Katy Sherwood, says emailing Dad a card provides a fun and instant experience.
The site also has interactive activities relating to Father's Day, for example the Virtual Gift Generator (VGG) page.
The VGG allows visitors to enter their fathers name, favourite household item and a description of their father and then
responds with a list of suitable gift suggestions.
Visitors to the Father's Day website can also send other types of Hallmark electronic cards, such as birthday, just
because, thank you, and congratulatory cards, by clicking on the Hallmark banner and being connected to Hallmark.com.
The Hallmark.com website has a Hallmark online shop with over 1,000 greeting cards to choose from, including shoebox
designs a Hallmark range recently released in New Zealand.
"The e-cards are innovative and the Hallmark.com website is definitely worth the visit," says Ms Sherwood.
