Government relations firm announces a year of free advice
HSB Government Relations has announced a new political engagement initiative called #TIPTUESDAY aimed at providing all New Zealanders access to government relations advice.
“I want all New Zealanders to see political engagement as an opportunity,” says Holly Bennett, director of the firm.
“There is limited understanding within the New Zealand business community about the value political engagement can bring, which is largely tied to accessibility and affordability.
“The biggest challenge for many businesses remains cash flow. This means a significant proportion do not engage because they do not know where to start, or do not have the money to pour down an unknown political engagement drain.
“As I see it, one of the easiest ways to begin breaking down the accessibility and affordability barriers is to provide free advice to everyone,” Ms Bennett says.
A new tip will be published every Tuesday through online business platform LinkedIn.
“2019 is the year before an election year. With that in mind, the initiative is designed to be helpful: there is no content sharing restriction or attribution required. Everyone is encouraged to repost, recreate and act on the tips,” Ms Bennett says.
To receive the tips follow HSB Government Relations or Holly, or follow the hashtag #TIPTUESDAY on LinkedIn for quick access.
