New Zealand insurtech startup, InsuredHQ, has been chosen to pitch at the Global InsurTech Roadshow. It is one of only 25 international early-stage startups to be selected. The ‘Goethe InsurTech Award’ will go to the best pitch on the day but InsuredHQ CEO Pauline Davies, says it’s an amazing achievement to even be chosen out of the many applicants from across the globe.
“It is fantastic to be able to showcase innovative thinking from a small country, on the world stage. I am so excited to be attending such a prestigious event, to see what others are doing in the insurtech space, and to talk on the world stage about InsuredHQ’s vision of insurance in the future.
InsuredHQ is a founding member of the insurtech working group which is part of FinTechNZ. FinTechNZ is a co-founder of the Global InsurTech Alliance (GITA), and the association with GITA very much helped to open this opportunity for us”.
The Global InsurTech Roadshow will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, in cooperation with InsurTech Asia and will run across two days (March 13/14). The pitches will take place on day one, and the award will be presented at a networking dinner on the same day. On day two, a panel of experts will run workshop sessions that will focus on the “latest digital trends and common learnings from Amazon, Blockchain or Cyber to the latest platform-solutions”.
“It’s not every day that a small New Zealand start-up gets to present to such a global audience. We’re ready to give it everything we have.”
