ARRI PRESENTS NZ CUTTING EDGE LIGHTING AND CAMERA WORKSHOP
AUCKLAND, 18 July 2017 – On Tuesday 25 July at 6pm for one night only ARRI and Xytech Technologies will present an evening of colour science, LED technology and real world lighting application when ARRI SkyPanel Product Manager Mike Wagner and leading New Zealand gaffer Sean O’Neill will take lighting and cinematography professionals on an illuminating journey.
Wagner’s clear explanation of LED technology and its practical application is world-renowned and this one-off night is geared towards a creative audience, offering plenty of hands-on and Q time. O’Neill’s recent feature film work and trip to ARRI’s International Lighting Symposium last February gives him excellent recent LED experience and plenty of stories to tell.
There will also be quality food and drinks on tap and as part of ARRI’s 100th birthday festivities, celebratory giveaways at this great industry event.
To add to the SkyPanel S30-C, S60-C and S120-C’s on show the ARRI and Xytech team will also light up the award-winning M-SERIES HMI daylight fixtures driven by the new EB MAX 1.8 high speed, AutoScan ballast.
On the camera side Brett Smith and Sean Dooley from ARRI ANZ will power up a fully-featured and operating ALEXA MINI showing everything new including SUP5.0 upgrade features plus 28mm Master Anamorphic lens, touch-screen Multi-Grips, LMB4x5 ultra-light Matte Box, ARRI’s new PCA Pro Studio Accessories, all with wireless follow focus and LDS dataflow as well as the Cmotion cfinder laser rangefinder.
The event will start at 6:00pm on Tuesday 25 July at Xytech Technologies, 10 Aitken Terrace, Eden Terrace, Auckland.
