University prize winner to join Wynn Williams as a graduate

On Wednesday 15 March, partners at law firm Wynn Williams joined other Wynn Williams staff and law faculty staff from the University of Canterbury to celebrate the success of two of the university's students. Kate Dickson received a Prize in Resource Management Law and Nic Wilson received a Prize in Torts.
The coveted prizes, which were established by the firm in 2009, are awarded annually on the recommendation of the Faculty of Law to the top students in Torts / Resource Management Law. Since establishing the prizes, Wynn Williams continues to host a prize giving evening each year for the students, their families and members of the faculty to congratulate them on their hard work and success.
One of this year's prize recipients, Kate Dickson took part in the firm's summer clerkship earlier this year and has already been offered a graduate position at Wynn Williams. She will join the Resource Management Team early next year.
National Managing Partner, Jared Ormsby said "the firm is proud to sponsor both prizes and the standard of the recipients continues to impress year on year. We are certainly looking forward to Kate joining us and excited to see her develop her skills into a successful career at the firm."
