Cashmanager RURAL launches new farming forum – join the conversation

Cashmanager RURAL is committed to improving farm performance and our latest development, Rural Community, delivers on
this promise.
Our new interactive forum, Rural Community, has launched.
Rural Community provides a place for like-minded rural people to share news, views, discuss topics and ask questions.
It is a forum where general farming topics can be discussed and our lead moderators will regularly post discussion
points related to the farming community.
Also launched today is a new improved Help Centre where our clients can engage with, and learn more about our
Cashmanager RURAL product. This could be by using FAQ walk-throughs and video tutorials, or exchanging ideas and
opinions and learning from one another.
CRS Software owner and managing director, Brian Eccles, says Rural Community provides a place for farmers to connect.
“The Cashmanager RURAL management system has the ability to change people’s lives but not everyone has the ability to
gain maximum benefit. The community project will provide a framework for farmers to connect with other farmers and this
sharing of knowledge and experiences is expected to ensure more farmers learn how the system can be applied to their
farming business,” Eccles says.
“CRS Software is much more than just a software company – we want to help farmers do it better and this initiative is
just another way we can make a difference.”
We have recruited four fantastic farming women to help run Rural Community, along with our Production Education Manager
Jo Hall, who knows the product inside and out and is leading the team.
Wairarapa sheep and beef farmer, Abi Fairbrother, has come on board as one of our farming moderators.
She and husband Richard have used Cashmanager RURAL for over 10 years and believe it’s a fantastic tool for their
farming business. With three young children, Abi was looking for a role that allowed her flexibility to juggle work,
caring for the children and the demands of a busy farming operation.
“Cashmanager ticked all the boxes and has given me the opportunity to learn more about the program as well as helping
others to develop their knowledge,” she says.
“I will be lead moderator for sheep and beef in Rural Community and am keen to get people communicating about topical
subjects, sharing information and tips and generally making farming life easier for everyone.”
