BRISBANE, 9 September, 2016 — Xero (@Xero) announced its annual partner awards at Xerocon South, honouring high-performing accountants, bookkeepers and app partners across Australia and New Zealand.


Consolid8 Pty Ltd was awarded Australian Accounting Partner of the Year and BDO Northland, New Zealand Accounting Partner of the Year. Digit Books won Australia Bookkeeping Partner of the Year and GoFi8ure, New Zealand Bookkeeping Partner of the Year 2016.


Spotlight Reporting took the honours for App Partner of the Year and Insightly won Emerging App Partner of the Year. Industry App Partner of the Year was awarded to farming app, Figured.

Winners of the 100% Xero Award, celebrating a practice that operates entirely on Xero, was awarded to Morrows Pty Ltd in Australia and Noone Plus in New Zealand.


Recent Xero research shows that firms with a higher concentration of clients using online accounting software are adding more business, and seeing higher year-over-year revenue growth. Accounting firms with 100 per cent of their clients using online cloud accounting software reported a 15.5 per cent increase in year-on-year revenue, compared to 3.9 per cent for firms not all-in on cloud accounting.
