What’s Your Flavour NZ?
National conversation seeks to unearth Kiwi flavour inspirations
The conclusion of the 2016 CADBURY Chocolate Carnival in Dunedin this Friday marks the midway point in a month-long celebration of chocolate. Earlier this month, Kiwi’s welcomed the return of the Jaffas block and CADBURY is now set to embark on a nationwide conversation about flavour discovery, unearthing inspirations to pair with chocolate.
“‘What’s Your Flavour NZ?’ poses a question to the nation. It’s a real-time and digital conversation seeking to find the flavour Kiwi’s believe best represents where they live - from the humble apple crumble to our own beloved Jaffas block made in Dunedin,” said Mondelez New Zealand’s Country Head, James Kane.
“We know New Zealander’s love variety when it comes to flavours, and there are so many inspirations across this great nation.”
And what better way to help capture these ideas and chocolate inspirations than through the quintessential home of Kiwi discovery, inspiration and invention - a traditional back-garden shed. Dipped in the unmistakeable CADBURY purple, the CADBURY Flavour Shed will set off on a voyage from the Deep South right up the North Island to help facilitate this great debate.
Delivering even more inspiration for this Kiwi flavour conversation, visitors to the CADBURY Flavour Shed will get to try our two newly launched special edition flavoured blocks, aptly named ‘Kiwi Legends’.
Mouth-watering CADBURY DAIRY MILK Lamington with delicious raspberry jam, vanilla cake flavoured pieces and coconut and CADBURY DAIRY MILK Apple Crumble with baked oatmeal crumble and apple jelly pieces will no doubt evoke a sense of nostalgia in the hearts of all Kiwis.
The CADBURY Flavour Shed itinerary will cover:
Friday, 22nd July: DUNEDIN, Lower Octagon, 6am till 12pm
Saturday, 23rd July: CHRISTCHURCH, Restart Mall, 10am till 2pm
Tuesday, 26th July: ROTORUA, Eat Street, 10am till 2pm
Wednesday, 27th July: AUCKLAND, Wynyard Quarter, 9am till 7pm
