ServiceIQ pioneers the “Software as a Service” solutions model for the service sector
Johannesburg, 19 October 2015 – Zartner Technology launched its first customer service sector web based and mobile application called; ServiceIQ, on the 15th of October 2015 at Regenesys Business School in Sandton, Gauteng.
The ServiceIQ launch was attended by a number of well-established businesses, small business enterprises such as health care practitioners, electricians, plumbers as well as mobile application users. Among the guests was Mr Katlego Mabusela, the host of breakfast show on Kaya FM as the MC and CEO of Black Business Council Mr. Mohale Ralebitso as the keynote speaker.
The aim of the software application is to improve services and enable continuous connection between service providers and clients in the health, accommodation, hospitality, travel and professional services sector. ServiceIQ aims to allow for more effective engagement between service providers and clients using instant messaging as the main communication technology. The fundamental purpose of the launch was to elaborate on the importance of information technology in the service sector and with a proper demonstration on how to utilize the ServiceIQ software solution.
Mr. Khashane Motloutsi (Zartner Technology Co-Founder and ServiceIQ Service Manager) during his demonstration and presentation said “traditional means of connecting service providers and customers are no longer effective with many cost barriers for service providers wishing to implement IT solutions. Zartner Technology exploits the technological gap as it has realized that service providers don’t have appropriate technological tools/budgets/capabilities/time for full ownership of the entire technology stack required to support services. ServiceIQ operates in the application layer of the technology stack and takes ownership and accountability for operations within all supporting lower layers of the stack, allowing service providers to focus on their core business while deriving value from the technological services provided by ServiceIQ.
He further elaborated that “Through the request based model clients will be able to create service requests that will be sent to numerous service providers who will then be able to expose their availability to the client”.
Zartner Technology is a 100% black-owned IT consulting and Technology Services Company with a focus in delivering Custom Software Solutions to customers throughout Africa. Since its inception in 2012, Zartner Technology has been involved in numerous projects for diverse businesses ranging from company websites to highly sophisticated custom web applications.
