Business Awards highlight rich mix of vital business success factors
Following four successful finalist functions across the Auckland region, the Auckland business community is celebrating the achievements of 75 local companies named as finalists in the Westpac Auckland Business Awards 2015.
The Westpac Auckland Business Awards reward excellence in business, and celebrate business innovation and best practice across Auckland North, South, West and Central.
Says Auckland Chamber of Commerce CEO Michael Barnett, ”Through the Awards we are able to pin point a rich mix of vital success factors that enhance business capability - and customer service is a top critical success factor. From dog grooming to App development, systems for enhancing a relationship with the customer are the nerve centre of the business.
“The Awards are good for business. They provide a pipeline of success and Auckland businesses are responding to the opportunity by participating in a rewarding process of self-reflection and self-improvement through facilitation, benchmarking with peers and increased profile and exposure across Auckland’s business sectors,” adds Barnett.
“We really are seeing a strong trend in how this drive for success across our business sectors is creating wider opportunities for businesses to succeed in the Auckland region.”
Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) partners the Chamber to present the Awards.
ATEED Chief Executive Brett O’Riley says: “The Westpac Auckland Business Awards are a great opportunity to celebrate the successes of the local businesses that are helping Auckland’s economy grow.
“ATEED congratulates all the Auckland businesses named as finalists, all of which have seized the opportunity to evaluate their progress against other businesses across the region.”
Karen Silk, Westpac GM Commercial, Corporate & Institutional, says: “Congratulations to the finalists in this year’s Westpac Auckland Business Awards. Their achievement is testament to an outstanding contribution to Auckland’s economy and their determined vision to succeed.”
The regional Awards, hosted by Auckland Chamber of Commerce with the support of ATEED, offer businesses a chance to be rewarded for their excellence, to share their stories and to celebrate their successes. For a complete list of finalists visit www.aucklandbusinessawards.co.nz.
