Leading real estate agency expands its Queenstown Lakes and Southland profile
Leading real estate agency BayleysLocations is expanding its presence in the Queenstown Lakes and Southland regions –
opening two new offices.
The company has acquired the offices and personnel of the Ray White real estate branch in Frankton. The new entity will
begin trading as BayleysLocations Frankton from July 14 in the same Frankton Village premises. All six former Ray White
personnel will transfer to the new BayleysLocations office.
Senior salesperson Wayne Cafe – who previously worked for Bayleys – will remain as the BayleysLocations Frankton branch
manager. His sales team will be bolstered by the addition of Queenstown high-performing BayleysLocations salesperson
Stephanie McMeeken.
Meanwhile in Southland, Bayleys is establishing an Invercargill office to specifically service the rural and lifestyle
markets. The office – which will commence trading from August 1 - will be headed up by up-and-coming rural salesperson
Hayden McCallum.
Winton-raised McCallum has been selling rural properties in the region for three years.
BayleysLocations director David Gubb said the company was entering an exciting phase in the Central Otago/Southland
property markets – bolstered by population growth around the Queenstown Lakes district, and the well-performing dairying
sector across Southland.
“Our new exposure in these localities comes at a period when interest in the regions –internally, from elsewhere in New
Zealand, and from abroad – is at unprecedented levels. We will leverage off Bayleys’ nationwide and international brand
awareness to grow both our residential and rural activities through these new offices,” he said.
