Century21 Goes Pink During Month Of October
Breast cancer affects one in nine New Zealand women over their lifetime making it one of New Zealand’s most common cancers.
“Regardless of who you are or what life experiences you have, we have all had a personal experience with someone who has faced breast cancer,” says Derryn Mayne, Licensed Agent of Century 21 Gold Real Estate in Manurewa.
Recognizing this, Century21 has chosen to spend the month of October raising money and awareness for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation in the hope to “increase the exposure that this foundation receives through our potential customers and future clients”.
For the month of October Century21 will be going pink! The staff will be dressed in pink jackets instead of their trademark gold and all their branding and advertising will be making the switch too. The team at Century21 will be out in force fundraising for this great cause.
Century21 hope that with their efforts and enthusiasm, they will be able to gain support from the local community to assist the New Zealand Breast Cancer foundation with this year’s campaign, and also to continue that support for years to come.
This social giving action organized by Century21 offers many ways for the community to get involved. Every Thursday in October there will be a barbeque held on the corner or Station Road and Great South Road in Manurewa with tasty food on offer. There is also a range of activities planned throughout the month from selling sausages to golf days for all to get involved.
Century21 are very excited to be a supporter of the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation. “It’s a fantastic organisation and we’re very proud to be part of it,” says Derryn. If you see the team at Century21 during their drive for this cause make sure to get involved and help show your support of this worthy cause too.
