Chocolate Meets Fashion for a Sensory Spring Experience
Italian Maori Designer from NZ Fashion Week Sofia Aroha launches her new label Good Faith at Wellington Chocolate Factory Aroha says “I love the visual aesthetic of Wellington Chocolate Factory [WCF]. I was drawn to their chocolate because the art of their wrappers complements my designs for this collection, which are tropical and fresh”.
Aroha is designing a sensual evening for her launch that takes advantage of the unique attributes of WCF as a venue. “I love that attendees will be greeted by the beautiful scent of chocolate as soon as they walk in. The fruit overtones in the chocolate really complement the delicious avant-garde fruit jewellery for the show. It will be a feast for the eyes, nose and mouth.”
Attendees can expect complimentary beverages and a goodie bag to take away that includes a treat from the Chocolate Factory as well as the chance to exclusively view her avant-garde collection that showcased at New Zealand Fashion Week this year. Following the official fashion show the models will mingle with the audience, allowing guests to take a closer look at Sofia Aroha's work and savour the chocolate while savouring the fashion.
