Supermodel Jessica Hart Gets Playful With Portmans.
Monday 1 September, 2014: As the season changes and with temperatures set to rise, Portmans celebrates Spring Summer 14
with a new collection that is pretty, playful and polished. With New York City as her catwalk, the new campaign features
Portmans It Girl and Australian Victoria’s Secret model, Jessica Hart.
The coveted model and Sports Illustrated favourite has regularly appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle and Harper's
Bazaar and her runway career has seen her walk for the likes of Christopher Kane, Sass and Bide and Matthew Williamson.
But alongside her striking good looks, it is Jessica’s inner confidence and playfulness that make her the perfect fit
for Portmans.
The high-street brand’s latest collection is all about occasion dressing. From a girls’ luncheon to date-night, spring
racing to the festive season and everything in between – Portmans has the perfect pieces to take you through the warm
days and balmy nights of the spring and summer months.
Shine bright in the new collection with hot summer dresses, with fresh florals in new silhouettes and two-piece
match-set dressing with midi and pencil skirts coupled with matching crop tops. Glittering metallics and bold, colourful
prints make for a vibrant, alluring and irresistibly seductive collection.
“I’m really excited by the new collection from Portmans and I’m sure that Kiwis will love it too. The new collection has
some great match sets which I love. I like simple, effortless mix and match fashion and these sets were perfect for my
recent travels,” says Jessica Hart.
“Shooting the Portmans campaign in New York was lots of fun and the shots look amazing. It was the perfect setting to
shoot a summer collection,” adds Jessica.
From the meat-packing district to Brooklyn Heights, the Big Apple serves as a vibrant and exciting backdrop to the
stunning campaign. The Portmans New York City campaign was shot by acclaimed photographer Simon Upton, with stylist
Trevor Stones, make-up artist Benjamin Puckey and hair stylist Edward Lampley completing the creative team.
