25 August 2014: TFE Hotel’s continues its winning streak, with tfehotels.com collecting an ‘Outstanding Achievement Award,’ as a part of the 2014 Interactive Media Awards (IMA) competition.
tfehotels.com is a one-stop booking portal with a variety of well located, quality hotel accommodation across Australia, New Zealand and Europe to meet the varying needs of travellers.
The Interactive Media Awards take place annually, but are judged on a quarterly basis, with a wide variety of categories segmented over the course of the year. Nominations for the IMA awards were accepted from around the world.
Emma Fraser, Group Director of Marketing at TFE Hotels, said: “We are proud to have been given this noteworthy international award for tfehotels.com. We are committed to developing a world-class digital experience for our guests so they can discover our hotels, their locations and book direct to receive our best available rates.
The ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ is the second highest honour given by IMA and an extremely challenging award to win. This is the third award we have taken home for TFE Hotels in recent weeks and we are very pleased with these recent accomplishments.”
To win the IMA award, tfehotels.com had to pass through a comprehensive judging system based on design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance. To win, websites needed to excel in each criterion, rising above competitors' sites. Sites that achieved an overall score between 460 and 479 were presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award.
“As we look to the future, we are very excited about the continual evolution of tfehotels.com with some exciting enhancements and designs based on deep user insights and data,” Emma said.
tfehotels.com offers a range of nearly 70 centrally located hotels which vary in price and design to meet a range of different accommodation needs across Australia, New Zealand and Europe; including Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Serviced Apartments, Vibe Hotels, Rendezvous Hotels, Travelodge Hotels and Hotel Kurrajong Canberra.
The group’s recent joint venture with Far East Hospitality (announced last August) positions the group as one of the largest hospitality chains in Australia.
Among TFE Hotels’ upcoming developments are Vibe Hotel Marysville, Hotel Kurrajong Canberra as well as two airport hotels in Mascot, Sydney, and a new Vibe Hotel Canberra Airport.
