A fairy-tale comes to life with Cinderella shoes hitting Auckland.
On the morning of Friday 15th August, Number One Shoes will be leaving a trail of 50 single shoes around Albany, ready
to be discovered by real-life Cinderellas. Anyone who discovers one of 50 shoeboxes placed around the area can then try
on the single shoe inside to see if it fits. Those who find a shoe that fits can complete their fairy-tale by taking it
to the new-look Albany store to collect the other half of their pair, for free.
“The Number One Shoes ‘Search for Cinderella’ is a way of treating our female shoppers to something a little bit special. We’re giving away some of our most popular
heeled courts, boots and sandals so there will be a style and size for every type of urban Cinderella to find”, says
Stacey Earle, Number One Shoes Albany Store Manager.
And the fantasy continues in store with hundreds of shoppers collecting their share of $30,000 worth of Number One Shoes
‘shoe money’ since its launch three weeks ago. Shoe money is an in-store shoe currency created exclusively for the
Albany store. Every time a shopper spends $10 they will get $1 of Number One Shoes ‘shoe money’ in return. All shoe
money will expire at the end of September.
