Xero and Warehouse Stationery join forces to help small businesses save time
Xero’s vision to connect small business to big business is now a reality with Warehouse Stationery today announced as the next major New Zealand corporate to integrate with Xero.
The integration will go live in mid August, allowing Xero customers to have the ability to receive invoices from Warehouse Stationery directly into the Xero platform.
Small businesses will easily be able to pay their bills direct to their bank from Warehouse Stationery through Xero Banking 2.0 initiative which has already gone live with ASB, Kiwibank and TSB Bank.
Xero New Zealand Managing Director Victoria Crone said around a quarter of New Zealand small businesses are using Xero and there is great potential for large companies to interact with our more than 100,000 customers.
“Effectively we’re becoming an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platform for New Zealand,” she said.
“We know that cashflow is paramount for small businesses and this latest innovation reduces time consuming manual entry, enabling small businesses to get a faster view of their cashflow position.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve online functionality and make financial management easier for our small businesses.
“Warehouse Stationery is becoming a leader in digital business and we’re super excited to have this major New Zealand brand on board.
“There is so much potential for big businesses to work with small businesses to deliver dual benefits and this is another example of home grown kiwi innovation that once proven locally will be taken globally. Planning is under way for other corporates to join the Xero ecosystem."
Warehouse Stationery CEO Pejman Okhovat said they were delighted to be one of the first corporates on board to automate business transactions through Xero.
“The Warehouse Stationery team is passionate about innovation and continuing the service we offer our customers,” Mr Okhovat said.
“This innovative initiative with Xero will help our business account customers save time in how they manage their businesses. The move also provides a great incentive for our customers to transition to online billing and the realise the efficiencies it offers to both parties."
