Superior Turf Solutions Moves to New Premises with Larger Facilities
The big news from Superior Turf Solutions is that they have moved to a new, world class showroom at 4C George B Drive, off the Mt Wellington Highway in Auckland, with larger facilities to showcase and store their ever increasing range of artificial grass products. Brett Jenkins is the founder and CEO of Superior Turf & Sports Ltd and started the business just over eight years’ ago and he is confident that their product is the best quality in the world.
The STSL artificial turf comes in exciting new colour product ranges for indoor and outdoor, and is suitable as landscaping turf for commercial and domestic applications and as a sports turf, specifically designed for each type of field application. Their most popular and biggest seller are their multi-sports surfaces marked with permanent (sewn in) coloured line markers, which means a single court can be used for several different sports such as tennis, volleyball and basketball. Schools and sports grounds alike are transforming their unforgiving asphalt and boggy playing fields into lush Superior Turf that can be used all year round – during droughts and after heavy rain.
A huge line-up of New Zealand schools are replacing high-maintenance grass, concrete and bark with high-quality, good-looking artificial turf that never needs watering, mowing or weeding. Dense rubber under pads, made from recycled materials, virtually eliminate serious head injuries and dramatically reduce other injuries sustained during sport and play. STSL are experiencing a huge upturn in enquires from the education sector as there are there are very few playable sports fields in winter, and this is the time of the year when schools realise they need top class playing fields, from primary school right through to secondary.
Further news from STSL is that they are displaying at the Home Ideas Centre in Parnell, where 85,000-90,000 people pass through each year. There is also a special weekend coming up in the Home Ideas Centre in Christchurch where they expect between 3,000-4,000 visitors to pass through. STSL were also a commercial presence at the Sports Awards in Otago, and the Junior Sports Person of the Year Awards in Christchurch, concentrating on getting their product out to the people.
Finally, STSL have added to their considerable array of products with their latest offering, KICK STAR, a foldable, electronic, interactive goal wall which affords a new style of indoor soccer, giving soccer training, without any restriction of age, to fitness centres and football clubs and to schools and youth clubs as well.
