Fancy yourself as Superman? Are you a closet Wolverine, or is your dream to play a flirtatious Scarlett O’Hara in old school Hollywood classic, Gone with the Wind?
Kiwis wanting to indulge their egos will now be able to reveal them in all their photographic glory thanks to a new photographic service from Enigma Photography.
As children, we all had dreams and fantasies: to be a super-hero, or a pop star or rugby hero. There was no limit to our imagination - anything was possible.
Auckland photographer Andrey Litvinov says for many of us those dreams remain and with his new service, would be stars can have their magical moment captured as a permanent record.
“People have the idea of what they are looking for,” says Andrey. “And I help make that idea a reality.”
Andrey says he works with his clients to discuss and collaborate on artistic direction. This involves costume selection and the sourcing of props, he says before the shots are captured in the studio.
The images are further brought to life through the Photoshop and other digital enhancements to create the scene in which the customer or character, wishes to be set.
“There is no end to what we’re able to create for people and it takes the experience of dressing up and becoming their alter-ego to a whole new dimension when they are able to be captured in a true environment,” he says.
“This technique works for couples and weddings, parenting wanting to bring to life their children’s birthday fantasy or the successful CEO who is desperate to play Spider Man. The result is truly a stunning mix of photography and art which brings peoples dreams to a reality that’s capture on film,” he says.
