Boatsurfers.com Gives Away $2,500 of Shimano Gear
Boatsurfers.com has hooked up some Shimano fishing gear to the value of $2,500 AUD with some support from Shimano
Australia. Boatsurfers.com has decided to give it all away in two separate competitions.
“We have been very lucky getting the support we have from the public, the media and the boating related industries. We
are very grateful for that” said Rowan Alexander from Boatsurfers.com.
The team at Boatsurfers.com are busy getting the community of Boaties up and running on Boatsurfers.com prior to its
launch on 1st July. Boatsurfers.com is all about getting more people on more boats more often by putting Boaties in
touch with one another.
“It is extremely important for us to get this world first service up and running.” Using technology, Boatsurfers.com is
allowing people with an interest in boating and fishing to do what they have been doing for hundreds of years… Going
boating with like-minded people.
Launching a new business is never easy though, even if people like it. Studies show that only 2.5% of people will buy
into a brand new product or service if it is new to the market. These people are called ‘Innovators’.
“To create a service for the community we need to get the community support. It’s great that we continue to receive it,
but it’s very important that we in return support the community.”
Boatsurfers.com has a member base of keen followers across Australia and New Zealand, members who have signed up prior
to launch to support the vision of Boatsurfers.com.
For the $950 prize, all anyone needs to do is head to the Boatsurfers.com blog (https://www.boatsurfers.com/index.php/blog/blog?view=blog=42), enter their name, email and what activities they enjoy and they go into the draw.
The $1,500 dollar prize will be randomly selected between paying members who sign up on www.boatsurfers.com or onpozible.com/boatsurfers before the launch of Boatsurfers.com on July 1st.
Rowan Alexander said it was a no-brainer to give the equipment away,
“We’re already pretty lucky to have some great support from the boating community so while I would love to keep it for
my own use we prefer to reward those who are supporting us.”
“We’ve already had an amazing response on social media; a lot of people are really excited about getting their hands on
some great gear from Shimano. As long as we continue to receive support from the boating community, we will continue to
invest into the community because that is what Boatsurfers.com is about – more people on more boats more often.”
Both prizes will be drawn with the launch of Boatsurfers.com on the 1st of July this year.
