New salary guide helps New Zealanders find out their worth in financial sector
New Zealanders wanting to know how much they are worth in the financial sector will now have access to an insightful,
real-time salary guide which launched earlier this week, from recruitment specialists Debbie Graham & Associates (DGA).
As a first for the New Zealand banking, finance and accounting market, DGA developed their salary guide because they saw
a lack of salary information for professionals working in those specific industries.
“There are plenty of international salary surveys out there, but we wanted to develop a New Zealand-specific resource
that provides accurate, relevant and real-time information for professionals in the banking, finance and accounting
sectors,” says Debbie Graham, Managing Director of DGA.
“It is useful for those who are in the process of job hunting, and employees going into a salary review, with knowledge
of their market worth. It will also help employers keep an eye on salary trends.”
Taking only a few minutes to complete, the salary guide is fine-tuned using a range of variables such as years of
experience, company size, gender, level of education and industry to ensure that the information is specifically
relevant to the user.
“I encourage everyone in the financial services, banking and accounting sectors in New Zealand, to fill out the survey.
The information entered into the system is of course completely anonymous, free and readily available for anyone to view
in real-time. The more people that enter their salary data, the more beneficial it will be for everyone in the
industry,” says Debbie.
In addition DGA will collate the data twice a year into a report which will deliver valuable insights for the industry
for both employees and employers.
