Entries Now Open for Event Awards
Entries for the much anticipated New Zealand Association of Event Professionals annual awards are now open.
NZAEP Chairperson, Terri van Schooten, says the awards are a true recognition of excellence as entries are judged by an independent panel of peers drawn from across the events industry.
“We have worked hard to create an awards entry process that is simple and flexible but, at the same time, allows our independent judging panel to properly assess and select the ‘best in class’ across the range of categories we have available this year,” says Terri.
“As always the awards are established to recognise those organisations or individuals who, amongst their outstanding peers, show that edge that makes them the best,” she says.
In a revamped format the Awards will be held in conjunction with the Eventing the Future Conference in Christchurch on August 6. The Awards will recognise all types and sizes of event and event organiser or company showcasing the true diversity of the sector as a whole.
“Entering is simple just go to www.nzaep.co.nz/awards and follow the online guide,” says Terri.
Categories include:
• Young Event Professional Award
• Best Event Professional Award
• Best emerging event
• Best established community event
• Best established regional event
• Best New Zealand owned major event
• Best New Zealand hosted major event
• Best partnership for an event
• Best one off event
• Lifetime achievement
Entries close on 27 June.
