NZ Swing Sets Company Says Certification Will Bring Expansion
Luke Pharaoh, Director of Kiwiplay, has announced that his company is in the process of applying for certification against standard NZS 5828:2004 for their playgrounds and swing sets.
The Hamilton-based company that sells high quality swing sets and playgrounds have focused on the domestic market until now, with strong success in New Zealand sales. Certification for standard NZS 5828:2004 is required to be able to install the playgrounds in early childhood centres, kindergartens, schools, kohanga reo and public parks.
“Our playgrounds are high quality and very safe”, said Mr Pharaoh. “We believe our playgrounds already meet the standards and are working through the certification process so it can be officially endorsed”.
Kiwiplay’s wooden playground equipment is built in quality cedar, with commercial grade hardware, coated bolts and chains, industry-leading slides with infused Safe UV protection and patented safety equipment.
