Doors Open at Christchurch Rebuild & Renovate Home Show
Those looking for guidance with their rebuild or renovation project need look no further than the Rebuild & Renovate Christchurch Home Show open from 10am today at the CBS Canterbury Arena, Addington.
Established as an event unique specifically designed for Christchurch, Exhibitions & Events New Zealand have brought together hundreds of specialist suppliers, products and experts in the one location for the weekend, ready to discuss any renovation project.
Exhibition Director Amanda Magnus says many Cantabrians still face a difficult rebuild road ahead and there is need for an event like this where the public can come and have their queries considered and answered.
“We want Cantabrians to feel that they can come to the show and have their questions answered easily and solutions offered,” she says.
“It’s an opportunity to take stock and look at all options available before undertaking your project, whether it be building a new kitchen, renovating the bathroom or completely starting again from scratch”.
Amanda believes it’s currently the only place that the public can view all the latest technologies in home automation, how to build more sustainably or even how to choose the perfect lighting and colour palette to complement their way of living under the one roof.
“We’ve worked hard to ensure we have the best selection of exhibitors and experts available from construction through to interior design on site and ready to help,” says Magnus.
Throughout the weekend the Resene Design, Renovate, Decorate Seminars will be taking place and are FREE for those at the show to attend. Experts will be discussing everything from acquiring a home loan to asbestos, from future proof building to creating your dream kitchen.
“We want people to have the best possible start to their rebuild process,” says Magnus.
“It’s not just about what looks fantastic, it’s the nuts and bolts of rebuilding or renovating homes that are safe and energy efficient – though if you’re looking for a colour to brighten up the walls of your lounge we have that too!” she says.
Tickets to the Rebuild & Renovate Christchurch Home Show are available now through www.canterburyhomeshow.co.nz and available at the door.
