Luxury apartments for Remuera are the first in the area since 2008
Plans have been unveiled for a new ultra-luxurious apartment block to occupy the site at 464 Remuera Road Nine new
upmarket apartments will occupy the site in two separate blocks. One block will contain four apartments, and the other
will have five apartments.
Three apartments have already been sold ‘off plan’ since marketing began late last year – including the 434 square metre
penthouse suite which has been purchased for in excess of $6.7 million , and the 300 square metre sub-penthouse
apartment which has been secured for $5million. The third unit of 118 square metres has been sold for $1.6million.
Construction work on the new complex began shortly after Christmas last year, and the upmarket units are scheduled for
completion in mid-2015. The new apartments at 464 Remuera Road are being developed by Albatross QT Ltd which bought the
land several years ago knowing prime sites close to Remuera village are very hard to acquire.
Albatross was the developer behind the hugely successful apartment development at 98 Remuera Road which were completed
in 2008.
Apartments in the 464 Remuera Road complex are being marketed for sale exclusively by Robert Ashton of Bayleys Remuera.
The last six remaining units range in size from 107 square metres – 306 square metres, with price tags varying up to
$5million. They feature a combination of two and three-bedroom dwellings.
Mr Ashton said the exclusive new residences at 464 Remuera Road will satisfy the most demanding owners.
“As is befitting an address in Remuera Road, the fittings and furnishings within the apartments at 464 Remuera Road will
be of the highest levels of style, taste, and quality,” Mr Ashton said.
“Buying off the plans so quickly into the process has enabled the first three apartment owners to individually style the
interior décor of their respective homes. There is some flexibility for this unique styling to be offered to the
remaining six units up for sale, but buyers would have to move quickly,” Mr Ashton said.
