Kiwis Get Exclusive Cider Gift from Sweden with Love
It’s the season of love and New Zealand’s favourite premium Swedish cider brand, Rekorderlig, is sending us a special gift of two brand new flavours; made especially for Kiwi fans.
The refreshing new Elderflower-Lime and Raspberry-Lime flavours will be available exclusively in New Zealand from February and will be readily available in supermarkets as well as in bars, restaurants and liquor stores across the country.
“There’s always been a great affinity between New Zealand and Sweden and we’re thrilled that we can offer these delicious new flavours as an exclusive treat for our loyal cider fans in New Zealand” says Emma Rock, Rekorderlig NZ Brand Manager.
“As much as we love our foreign counterparts, we’re pretty excited to have a couple of flavours the rest of the world doesn’t!”
The fragrant sweetness of the elderflower is bound to be a hit with kiwis who have developed a taste for the delicately floral flavour over the last few years and the raspberry-lime combination has a similar but slightly tangier taste than the ever popular Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime.
Elderflower-Lime and Raspberry-Lime will both be available for purchase at the Swedish Summerhouse; Rekorderlig’s next pop-up Swedish experience, which is open to fans in Auckland from the 6th – 16th March.
The new flavours will be joining Premium Apple and Premium Pear in supermarkets as well as the rest of the range which is available in bars and liquor stores.
Rekorderlig Elderflower-Lime and Raspberry-Lime both retail at $5.99 per 500ml bottle, ALC 4.0% VOL.
About Rekorderlig Cider
Rekorderlig is a premium range of ciders that were first created in 1999 in a fourth-generation family brewery. It combines quality fruits with pure spring water from Vimmerby, Sweden, where it is still made today. From its humble Swedish roots, Rekorderlig has retained its dependable honesty to become a much-loved cider worldwide. Available in a wide range of New Zealand’s favourite bars, pubs, restaurants and bottle shops, Rekorderlig continues to launch in new countries while strongly maintaining its Swedish heritage. The originator of the hugely-popular Strawberry-Lime flavour, the range also includes the newest flavours Elderflower-Lime and Raspberry-Lime; along with Passionfruit, Mango-Raspberry, Apple & Blackcurrant, Orange-Ginger, Wild Berries, Apple, Pear and the seasonal Winter Cider which combines crisp apple cider with hints of cinnamon and vanilla.
