Band of Collectors Create New Online Store
A team of creative curators in Auckland has just launched The Collectors, a new online home for unique and desirable
lifestyle objects.
The Collectors handpick the best items from near and far giving Kiwis access to objects of interest they may not
otherwise come across.
Head Collector and CEO Ben Partington says he wants to give New Zealanders somewhere exciting to explore - retail with a
bit more soul and interactivity.
“We’re constantly searching high and low for new and exciting products to collect from international shores, and from
talented local sources,” said Mr Partington.
“It’s a one stop shop for all things cool and covetable.”
Mr Partington says the response to The Collectors and what they are trying to achieve has been really positive.
“People are raving about what they can find on the site and their positive start-to-finish shopping experience with us,”
he said.
With a slick and user-friendly design, the web store showcases an array of top lifestyle products. With categories
ranging from ‘body’ to ‘gadgets’ and ‘vices’ to ‘style’, there is no limit to what The Collectors might find to sell.
Visitors to the site can discover new brands alongside other names they will recognise.
“The bottom line is we love collecting and connecting people with cool stuff,” said Mr Partington.
“The plan for The Collectors is to start small and focus on sourcing a great range of products that Kiwis will enjoy
looking at online. It would be really nice to go international once we have solidified a presence here,” he said.
“But right now, New Zealand is our number one priority.”
