Double Gold for Rapaura Springs 2013 Sauvignon Blanc
Rapaura Springs is continuing to strike gold with its Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, with a double win at the New Zealand
International Wine Show 2013.
The Rapaura Springs 2013 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Rapaura Springs 2013 Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc both
won gold medals at the country’s largest wine competition.
Owner Brendan Neylon said Sauvignon Blanc was Marlborough’s flagship wine, and it was imperative that the region worked
hard to continue to produce the world’s best.
“Nature makes this region’s wine so special, but we can’t underestimate the commitment required from growers and
winemakers to maintain our position.”
The family owned winery has produced a line-up of award wining wines over the past twelve months, receiving gold medals
in the United States, Canada, China, Korea, New Zealand and Australia.
“It’s great to see the new vintage winning the same accolades as its predecessor,” said Mr Neylon.
Trophies for the New Zealand International Wine Show 2013 will be announced on Saturday 28 September.
