Connected care solution specialist HSAGlobal has appointed Johan Vendrig as Chief Operating Officer. Johan will lead the development and delivery of the company’s connected care software platform and products.
Johan joins HSAGlobal from healthAlliance where he was General Manager of Information Services. He has also held a number of high level technology positions in the healthcare and telecommunications services industry including Chief Information Officer at Auckland District Health Board.
“Demand for connected care is growing rapidly as health systems everywhere look for new ways to manage limited healthcare resources,” says HSAGlobal CEO Matt Hector-Taylor. “We have signed major clients in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore and are now getting ready to move into new markets. In his role as COO, Johan will ensure that the design and delivery of our purpose-built connected care platform meets the needs of customers adopting more integrated service models. Johan’s extensive IT experience, deep understanding of the healthcare system and strong customer focus will be crucial to the continued growth and success of our business.”
Johan comments on his new role: “Multidisciplinary shared care is the future of healthcare. I look forward to leading service delivery and product development teams in a company that specialises in this area. It is an exciting opportunity to work with forward-thinking customers across multiple geographies who are moving towards new ways of caring for patients.
“The HSAGlobal team creates the ability for agencies to collaborate effectively to achieve a true patient-centred service model – I look forward to working with our IT supplier colleagues in the sector to ensure our customers have a good end-to-end service experience.”
Johan joins the team at HSAGlobal in mid-October.
