It’s Now Even Easier to Find 100% Grass-fed, Angus Beef In Auckland. Green Meadows Beef Available In More Stores.
Food loving Aucklanders will now find it even easier to add Green Meadows Beef to their shopping lists. The ethically
raised, 100% grass-fed Angus beef from South Taranaki is now available at the Farro Fresh Constellation Drive store. The
gourmet food retailer will be stocking Green Meadows Beef scotch fillet and premium Angus mince. The beef was launched
at the Farro Fresh Grey Lynn store last month and went down so well that it has been expanded out of central Auckland.
“Farro Fresh is a perfect fit for us,” explains Green Meadows Beef Director, Nick Carey “The store attracts discerning,
food loving shoppers who want to know where their food comes from and that it’s the best quality available. We’re
looking forward to getting to know our Auckland customers and bringing our South Taranaki raised Angus beef to even more
people.”
Green Meadows Beef will be introducing the 100% grass-fed Angus beef to Aucklanders at The Food Show, Auckland from 1-4
August 2013. Beef tastings, special deals and promotions will be taking place at their trade stand (L07). They will also
be giving away a Weber Baby Q BBQ to one visitor.
The Carey family founded Green Meadows Beef after realising that the best New Zealand beef is exported and never made
available to the local market. All animals are reared ethically, fed their natural diet and allowed to roam freely. They
receive the best of care, which includes drinking household quality water from troughs filled by the local Cold Creek
community water scheme.
The Green Meadows Beef cuts have already been met with approval from New Zealand chefs, home cooks and food bloggers
with the beef scoring praise for its superior taste, texture and colour.
As well as being stocked in more stores, Green Meadows Beef is still available online at www.greenmeadowsbeef.co.nz. A number of shopping options are available, from 5kg boxes to larger 20kg packs and custom cuts. The beef is delivered
free of charge, directly from the farm to the front door.
