First guests welcomed at new Queenstown luxury apartments
Luxury apartments VillageQueenstown.com welcomed their first guests after officially opening the lakefront accommodation
complex last Friday (June 28).
Village Queenstown, a brand developed by local boutique apartment management company Staysouth.com, provides fully-appointed two, three,
four, five and six-bedroom apartments in a self-contained apartment complex located at Queenstown’s Kawarau Village.
Australian guests living in Singapore were welcomed to the Penthouse Suite – a lavish three-ensuite bedroom apartment
featuring uninterrupted views of Lake Wakatipu – with a bottle of Moet champagne as they arrived at the resort for their
Queenstown ski holiday.
Village Queenstown opened last week for the first time. There are 28 five-star apartments in the complex – with most of
them being managed by Staysouth.
Suites are already in demand – advanced bookings are strong, according to Staysouth general manager Sonya Archibald.
“Queenstown tends to book out in advance of the winter season so these apartments have been a welcome addition providing
top-quality capacity. We’re pleased with our early forward bookings, and because it’s a new complex, there are still
apartments available for this winter for people to take advantage of the great snow conditions.”
Village Queenstown’s opening has been made possible by StaySouth.com, which was recently appointed as exclusive managers
for the visitor accommodation market of the Reserve Central, Reserve South East and Reserve South West buildings in the
complex.
“Kawarau Village is on the sunny side of Lake Wakatipu – just an eight-minute water taxi ride, 12-minute drive or
20-minute bus ride to central Queenstown. The apartments are fitted to five-star standard and are perfect for family
