BMW 7 Series Checks Into Intercontinental Wellington
A new arrival at InterContinental Wellington has both guests and staff excited – a BMW 7 Series high performance car in which to transport guests around the nation’s capital.
InterContinental Wellington General Manager, Scott Hamilton, said adding the vehicle to the hotel’s inventory was an easy decision after all options had been considered.
"We pride ourselves on the fact InterContinental Wellington is the most experienced 5 star hotel in Wellington. In making any decision that impacts our guests, we draw on our brand. InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is the world's first truly global hotel company, and it is our experience that enables us to truly know our guests. Our InterContinental guests are experienced travellers - they are confident; they enjoy authentic experiences in each part of the world they visit.
“From our research we know too that BMW has a distinctive set of brand values that over decades has allowed them to truly become the ultimate driving machine. We are proud to know our guests are journeying, even for a short airport transfer, in a fellow sector leader known for success and consistency.
“The BMW 7 Series suits us not only in aesthetic appeal and performance ability, but also in terms of fuel efficiency and its solid sustainability and green credentials – additional aspects we value within InterContinental Hotels and Resorts.”
The new BMW 7 Series was delivered to the InterContinental Wellington last week by Paul Ardin, Dealer Principal of Jeff Grey BMW, the only authorised BMW dealership in the capital.
“I’m naturally delighted InterContinental Wellington selected a BMW 7 Series as their preferred vehicle, but I was quietly confident as I know this particular model made for a very compelling business case,” said Mr Ardin.
The vehicle is available for guest transfers and sightseeing.
