DCC enters conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement for Carisbrook
Dunedin (Tuesday, 12 February 2013) – The Dunedin City Council has entered into a confidential conditional Sale & Purchase Agreement for the sale of Carisbrook.
Due diligence is now being carried out by the prospective purchaser. Details of the agreement remain commercially sensitive in the meantime until such time as the agreement becomes unconditional, at which time the sale price and other details will become publically available. The site is zoned industrial, and the purchaser s intentions are to develop it for that purpose.
Of the other properties purchased by the Council at the time of the Carisbrook land purchase, sales of the Burn St houses and half of the Burns St carpark have been completed with the remaining half of the Burns St carpark under negotiation.
