Choice Properties Place Top 25 in 2013 TripAdvisor Awards
Choice Hotels’ four-and-a-half star Rotorua property, Clarion Collection Hotel Wai Ora Lakeside Spa Resort has been
announced number four in the 2013 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards of the Top 25 Hotels in New Zealand.
Clarion Collection Hotel Wai Ora Lakeside Spa Resort was named amongst an elite group in the New Zealand Top 25 Hotels,
including Millbrook Resort in Queenstown, the Hilton in Queenstown and Taupo and the Langham in Auckland. Choice Hotels’
Palmerston North property, Econo Lodge The Villas, also placed number 20 on the list.
Now in its 11th year, this was the biggest ever Travellers’ Choice Awards covering 650,000 hotels across 82 countries
and nine regions worldwide. The awards recognise and reward the world’s top properties for remarkable service, quality
and luxury.
The TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice winners are decided based on millions of reviews and opinions collected from
travellers all over the world last year.
The award-winning Clarion Collection Hotel Wai Ora Lakeside Spa Resort boasts 20 deluxe studios and 10 one-bedroom
superiors suites, each with their own private balcony and some in-room spa baths.
The luxury property also features a day spa that offers treatments based on Maori healing properties, a range of massage
styles, beauty treatments, saunas and hot pools.
Econo Lodge The Villas in Palmertson North combines comfortable accommodation with affordability and outstanding
service. Located just minutes from the city centre, Econo Lodge The Villas offers 36 generous units made up in a range
of ways, from one-bedroom units to family units to suit all travellers.
The property also features an indoor heated pool, well-equipped games room and offers free newspapers and broadband to
all guests.
