Local Solar Panel Energy Firm Partners With One Of The World’s Top 3 Manufacturers
As energy consumers have been struggling with price increases of at least 5.5% this year, South Island firm CPS Solar has partnered with Taiwanese solar panel manufacturer, Winaico, to bring solar panels to the New Zealand market which are affordable and are independently rated as being in the top 3 in the world for performance, quality and reliability.
As well as being extremely efficient and reliable, each Winaico photovoltaic (PV) panel comes with an insurance policy indemnifying the owner against such risks as fire, lightening strikes, rodent damage and even reduced energy yield. The panels also come with a 25 years warranty and have an expected life of over 30 years.
Murray Marquet, Director of CPS Solar, says: ‘We’re delighted that Winaico have chosen us as a distribution partner. There are a lot of solar PV panels out there whose suppliers claim perform well, but our deal with Winaico means we can deliver to our customers the performance and quality of one of the top 3 PV panels in the world at very affordable prices.” This is likely to be welcome news for energy consumers at a time when there’s much uncertainty over energy prices and ownership of the utility companies.
The Winaico PV panels will be paired with inverter systems manufactured by Christchurch-based Enasolar. As well as converting the direct current from UV light into the AC current a home or business needs, Enasolar’s inverters can send real time and energy production and sunshine data wirelessly via a simple, user-friendly interface to either your desktop or smartphone. And ‘import-export’ meters record the energy produced from the PV panels or consumed from the grid. So, whenever a surplus is generated by the solar system, effectively, energy is sold back to the grid.
The solar systems are ideal for mounting on homes, dairy sheds, school classrooms and warehouses, etc. and the company is experiencing high levels of demand from these sectors.
CPS Solar is a market leader in the supply of renewable energy, heat pump and conventional electrical solutions and have installed more Solar PV systems on the Orion network than any other provider. Their aim is to deliver energy solutions to New Zealanders at the lowest prices, assisting NZ in becoming more energy efficient and therefore reducing its carbon footprint.
