The SKYCITY Festival of Poker, New Zealand’s most prestigious and highest prize pool poker tournament is back and bigger
than ever in collaboration with PokerStars.net. With a guaranteed $200,000 NZD prize pool and the chance for one player
to walk away with the exclusive SKYCITY Festival of Poker bracelet valued at over $5000 NZD! This 2012 tournament will
see world class players from around Australasia converge on SKYCITY Auckland to compete for the glory of winning the
SKYCITY Festival of Poker Main Event.
The Poker Room, New Zealand’s only dedicated Texas Hold’em Poker room will be abuzz with activity from 17-25 where
players will be hitting the tables for their chance to pick up some of the guaranteed $200,000 NZD prize pool in the
NZPT PokerStars.net Auckland Main Event.
With only 330 places available and a $2200 NZD buy-in, this tournament is suited for all players from seasoned
professionals, online players and players from home games. Up for grabs this year is something never before seen in the
New Zealand poker tournament scene. Along with the cash prize from the guaranteed prize pool a very special bracelet
will be awarded to the winner of the NZPT PokerStars.net Auckland Main Event.
